Berit was absolutely wonderful to work with. The transformation was stunning. I knew what I wanted for my hairstyle and it was right on but I didnt have an idea about how I wanted to have my makeup. I left that in here hands. It was perfect. Flawless!!! Her talent and knowledge is incredible. She was very accomodating too seeing as I wasnt sure about my plans etc because I changed my mind about 3 times. But it worked out perfectly. Thank you Berit!!! You made my wedding day that much more special!!

Berit was such an amazing addition to my wedding experience. I do not wear much make up at all in my every day, non-wedding, life so I was nervous about having make up done for me wedding day. Even though I was trying to keep my wedding day costs low, having my make up done was an aboslute priority because I wanted to make sure that my face looked nice in the professional pictures. During the make up trial, Berit was so patient with me and worked with me to ensure that I had the best make up possible. I chose to do the air brush make-up and was so happy with that decision. Berit did my make up for both my engagement pictures and for my wedding day. She was so pleasant to be around. This was very important to me as I wanted only happy people to be with me on the morning of the wedding day!! I would recommend Berit to anyone and am looking forward to the day that I will use her make up services again - maybe maternity pictures!!

To say Berit is amazing would be an understatement. She was such a joy to work with and willing to try different types of makeup and correct and change things that I noticed in photographs and other events. (The only reason for corrections was because I was not very clear on what I wanted.. so I had to try different styles ☺ ) My wedding day make up was amazing and all my bridesmaids and mom looked so beautiful!!! Beyond being an amazing make-up artist, she went above and beyond for me. Our wedding photographer had scammed us out of almost the entire amount of the wedding package and disappeared, unfortunately he had done this to many others as well.. When I let Berit know I needed to reschedule my makeup trial (since I was hoping to have our engagement shoot the day I had my makeup done…) She was so understanding and listened to my situation., and understood that I could not give a specific day to reschedule and that I would contact her as soon as I knew anything. She felt horrible about our situation and went out of her way to contact highly recommended wedding photographers she had worked with before, and since we were at loss with the other photographer, she let them know of our situation and agreed to a very reasonable price. WHAT A BLESSING!! I will definitely use Berit again in the future. She is very professional, patient, and kind. I was extremely impressed by her service.

Berit was amazing to work with. She made me feel so beautiful on the big day. She understood the look I wanted and the airbrush stayed on all through out the evening. Felt like I didn't even have make up on. She is a true talent.

Best Wedding Make-up Artist in Southern California! Berit really knows her stuff. She listened to exactly what I wanted and did it even better than I could have imagined. She is easy to talk to, easy to work with, and the sweetest woman! The make-up trial was so much fun, and we even learned a few tricks too! But most importantly, my make-up for my wedding was flawless! Not only did it last ALL day (from 10am-11pm), but it did not smudge once, and looked as good at the end of the night as it did at the beginning of the day. My make-up was exactly what I wanted, and I got so many compliments during the day. I was at ease knowing that I trusted Berit to make me look beautiful, and it took a huge stress off of me to try to do it myself. Berit is a true professional and she is truly gifted at what she does. She listens to her clients and does what they want, and she makes you look absolutely gorgeous. I am so happy with my wedding day makeup! I received a ton of compliments on how flawless my face looked all day and even late into the night thanks to Berit's perfect airbrush and makeup application, and touch ups. Berit worked with me to create two looks - a glowing, natural look for our outdoor ceremony, and a sophisticated more dramatic look for our evening indoor reception. She is a true professional and works closely with you with every detail until you are completely happy with how you look. I highly recommend opting for one of her all-day packages so you get the benefit of makeup and touch ups for everyone in your bridal party throughout the day. It's totally worth it - you will love how you look in all your wedding photos!

I don't think I can write enough great things about makeupbyberit. Not only is she so sweet, professional, her makeup is like NO OTHER! I first met Berit when I was looking for someone to do my make up for my engagement party in Aug 2010. She knew I was from NY, and accomdated her schedule so that she could help me out that day. I have got my make up done before BUT THIS WAS AMAZING! She makes her makeup adapt to each bride, with her colors and personal touch it was stunning. So my decision was clear must need her for the wedding day :) On my wedding day, I had 2 events, morning ceremony with evening reception. Both with complete different looks. Berit had brought colored pictures of my trial, which I appreciated that she had taken the time to do that. Really showed me she really cares about her clients. My makeup was beautiful!!!!!!! even after crying during the ceremony it still looked flawless!!!!!! She really is amazing at what she does. My mother who has NEVER EVER wore makeup in her ENTIRE LIFE except for lip stick wore make up on that day. She looked stunning. Berit made her makeup pop for pictures but still accomdating my mother on having a natural look. I would 10000% use Berit again, FOR ANY EVENT. She is truly wonderful and an artist at what she does. I rec her for ANY event!!!!

I loved Berit!!!! I have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. I have dry skin and break out at times, and you would never even know! She was AMAZING and I would recommend her to anyone! She was so kind and listened to what I wanted. Could not be any happier!!!!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!!!!! Berit is such an amazing make-up artist. I chose a pacakge from Berit in which she was with me the whole day of the wedding. A present to my family and my bridesmaids was professional make-up by Berit. This was the best thing I could have done. NOT only did each and every bridesmaid look wonderful the groomsmen were also touched up as well as my hubby. She did such a great job. She was there after the ceremony to make sure that I did not smear the makeup and looked perfect for the after wedding photos AND THEN I did a different look for the reception. I felt like the Bell of the Ball, which is exactly how every bride should feel. I would recommend her to any person who needs professional make-up done; whether it be for their wedding or a special event. I am counting down the days until I have something else special enough to use Berit's services. I will be a life long customer!

Every girl should feel absolutely stunning on her wedding day, and Berit made me feel like a million bucks! I felt so special on my wedding day and my makeup looked flawless. Berit uses the top makeup products and can create the exact look you have visioned. She created two looks for my wedding...the first being a light and bright wedding ceremony look...and then we switched it up for the reception and smoked up the eyes for a little more drama. I loved her air brush makeup, it was super light on my skin and photographs so well! I did the all day package, which was the best idea ever. I didn't have to worry about a thing because Berit was with me until my Grand Entrance making sure my makeup looked perfect and stayed nice for all the photos. I got so many compliments and all my Bridesmaids and the Moms who got their makeup done felt so good. Not only did she spend a lot of time and energy on me, but she was their to touchup all my Bridesmaids when they wanted. I wish Berit could always get me ready in the morning because she is fabulous at what she does and is so talented! She is professional and I would recommend her for any Bride.

I used Berit's make up services for my wedding and highly recommend. I had gone through trial appointments with two other vendors and not been satisfied. I wanted to look like myself, but with an extra special touch and Berit definitely delivered. My make up was flawless, with beautiful flattering colors, and a touch of drama, AND lasted for over 12 hours. (I highly recommend the airbrush make up. Gorgeous!) I was sad to take it off at the end of the night! I truly felt like my most beautiful self. On top of that, Berit is professional, extremely knowledgeable about wedding makeup, and has a calm demeanor. Exactly what you need when you are gearing up for your big day.

Even though I was planning a wedding in Laguna Hills from New York City, somehow I was able to try out numerous makeup artists before committing to Berit's all day package. The moment I spoke to Berit, I wanted to work with her. When I had my trial, I was sold. Initially, I liked how Berit presented her website, and the variety of makeup and looks she has worked with. Also, I liked her professionalism, and her detail-oriented mentality. She made me feel that she really cared about my wedding, and was always on top of the schedules. She was very dedicated to the scheduling working out (10 bridesmaids and 2 MOB/MOG) and even called me from her vacation to discuss the complexity of scheduling. I loved conversing with her, and her laid-back personality (trust me it's important to actually like your vendors on the day of the wedding since you will be spending so much time with them). In addition, everything I needed and asked for prior to the big day, during, and after, Berit did everything in her power to help me. I would definitely recommend her to any of my friends, and will be calling her up for makeup applications for special events going forward! Berit was wonderful to work with! She made me & my bridal party feel incredibly comfortable and at ease, not to mention look SPECTACULAR on my wedding day! She was a referral from our photographer, so I was pretty confident when I contacted her, but she far exceeded my expectations! She is very professional, truly loves her work & is great at keeping everyone on schedule. When we first met, she really took the time to listen to what I envisioned for my wedding day & made sure that I was happy with the end result. On my wedding day, she was great at keeping everyone calm & relaxed. Berit sends each girl off with their own touch-up kit, but truly we did not need it. Our make-up lasted all day & our pictures turned out beautifully! Berit was one of the best decisions I made!

Berit was simply amazing from the beginning to the end! When scheduling my makeup trial she was extremely flexible and accomodating to fit my tight schedule. She is very professional, fun, talented, and created the perfect look for my wedding day! My two most important requirements were a great, natural look and having the confidence that we would leave for our venue on-time and Berit did such a great job in both these areas...she even kept me reassured and calm when I thought we were running late! I have nothing but great things to say about Berit. This past year I had the honor of having my mkeup done by Berit in 3 different weddings, one of which was my own. She is incredibly talented at what she does. I had a different look for each wedding, and loved each and every one! And for my own wedding, she was able to transform me from ordinary girl to a gorgeous bride! I felt the most beautiful on that day than I ever had before :) I highly reccomend using the airbrush makeup-it makes your skin flawless, yet natural. Berit works very well with large wedding party groups and caters to the individual needs of each and every person. I have seen Berit work very well on 3 different occasions, and I can honestly say she is the very best and I would highly recommend her for any wedding or special occasion.

I've always considered myself skilled in the art of doing make-up so letting someone else do my make-up was a real nail biter, I'm kind of a perfectionist! However, Berit was amazing! She is so perfesional and organized I had full confidence she would do an amazing job...and she did! For my wedding she did my make-up, my mom, and my 3 sisters! I told her I wanted everone to look really sexy and amazingly she made us all look sexy in a totally different way. Everyone looked phenomenal (I don't say that too often!) Not only was the make-up amazing but, she was SO profesional and organized. Doing 5 womens make-up is no easy task and she handled it with ease. I was such a mess that day and she totally kept me on time. She had a time frame for everyone and made sure she met it. She also gave me a touch up kit for the night which I thought was extremely thoughtful! In truth though, I didn't need it. When the night was over my make-up looked exactly the same as it did when the night began. Berit is amazing! I highly recommend her! I am truly greatful to her for makeing my big day a breeze!

Berit is an extraordinary person to work and such a talented make-up artist! Throughout the wedding planning process and at the make-up trial, Berit paid close attention to my makeup needs and what type of "look" I wanted on my wedding day. I completely felt at ease with Berit. I was even more excited about hiring Berit as my make-up artist after she did an AMAZING job for my engagement pictures. I looked flawless and polished, but not overdone for the daytime. On my wedding day, Berit did a FANTASTIC job with my make-up and make-up for the bridal party, moms, and sisters. Berit kept us on schedule and was wonderful about asking everyone what they felt comfortable with as far as color (for lips, eyes, etc.) Berit is so calm and listens to her clients. I was extremely happy with my wedding day make-up and I felt so glamorous all day! My husband was floored when he saw me walking down the aisle and I loved that I looked liked a polished version of "me." All of our guests commented on how radiant and flawless I looked. Looking back at wedding and engagement pictures, these are memories I'll have for life and I was so blessed to work with such a talented and lovely individual!
