One-of-a-Kind Ceremonies

Don was amazing and made a huge difference in our wedding. We came to Don last minute after we had problems with our first officiant, he was extremely personable, helpful, and knowledgeable. Don was able to tailor our ceremony to exactly what we wanted and made sure he had every detail prepared ahead of time. I would recommend Don to anyone for their wedding because he is a true professional and will take all the stress of your shoulders. All my family loved Don and commented on how great he did. If you want a officiant who will be personable, funny, and professional instead of a robot who just recites words, then DON IS YOUR MAN!!!!!

Don was soo awesome!! He was on time and professional for every appt we had with him. He met and conversated with whole family and bridal party at our rehearsal to get to know everybody before the wedding which I thought was so nice. He was very punctual and checked in with me weekly to make sure we were on the same page and made sure I had no other questions or requests. He made our ceremony unique, religious, funny and comfortable. Don put our love story into our vows which made it so much more meaningful, than just your standard "I Dos". He also gave us many different options on how we wanted our ceremony conducted and vibe we were looking for. We had so many compliments on Don after our wedding and I would highly recomend him!! My wedding wouldnt have been the same without him!! :)

Found Don on the internet and thought we'd take a chance since we're from South Dakota and were getting married in San Diego. Don was very prompt with his response and kept good contact with us! We spoke over the phone and kept in tough via email and my husband and I were very pleased, so far, with out decision to go with him. We met a few days before the wedding in San Diego and ended up being very happy and excited about choosing Don to marry us. The wedding was wonderful and everyone in our families thought Don was great! Throughout the whole process, he was very patient, kind and always kept a sense of humor. We grew to truly love the dear Rev personally as he tirelessly crafted a remarkable one-of-a-kind ceremony that on our wedding day, reflected us PERFECTLY. He also honored our assembled friends and family and gave us all a sense of inclusion and joy..... it was a wedding ceremony that will live forever in memory, and not only ours! Reverend Don is a very personable officiant. He is familiar with many customs (e.g., Sake Unity Expression, jumping the broom). He was able to customize our ceremony to meet both of our cultural needs without making the service too long. Rev. Don was able to accommodate unrehearsed changes and was able to maintain the flow of the ceremony. Many of my guests thought that me and my wife had a long standing relationship with Rev. Don... he's that good :-) Hope he can make your ceremony as beautiful and meaningful as he made ours.

Don was great--very professional, friendly, and flexible. He invested time and effort into getting everything just as we wanted it in the months and weeks leading up to our ceremony. On the day of, he arrived early and well dressed, he checked in with both of us and made sure we were at ease, then performed the ceremony exactly as he and I had discussed. Don was professional yet friendly with our families and helped keep things organized and smooth without ever appearing pushy. Reverend Don did an awesome job at our ceremony! Prior to the ceremony, I had a couple of phone conversations with Don so we could get to know each other and then my husband and I met with him and went through stories of how we met and other personal things we wanted to share with our guests. I think because of his journalistic background, he knew the right questions to ask to get the right type of information from us. Then, he crafted a story basically and weaved in the ceremony parts. He gave us a preliminary script beforehand which allowed us to see what was going to be said and how it would flow, which was great. We were so excited for the big day just to see what people's reactions were going to be to the stories we had him tell for us:) During the ceremony I remember looking out and everyone was so in tune to him because it was truly like he was telling a story. We received so many compliments on how great he was with the way he 'told our story". He worked in personal touches throughout the entire ceremony. People said they were entertained! Some even said it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever seen! He made it all about us and that is what I think captured our guests attention, it was so special to us and something we will remember for the rest of our lives. We are forever grateful!

What can We say about Mr Don other than he was PERFECT. After searching and searching for the perfect officiant for ou wedding, we finally came across Don. He was very flexible in meeting with us and wherever we wanted to meet with him he made it happen. Don is one of those people that seems to REALLY care about you and wants your cermony to be done perfect and the way that you want it. He is very prompt on returning emails and answering questions you may have. Don made our ceremony more than perfect, through all the rain and some thunder, Don's words and his spur of the moment responses were right on key and what we were looking for. Provided an exceptional service! We sent him some brief information about our lives and he turned it into a very succinct and complimentary ceremony. He worked with us long distance from over seas for most of the set up. Don was extremely patient with us, taking time to speak over the phone and get every last detail perfect. He set up everything so well providing options for the service and advice on what exactly we could do, without being forceful about any one particular way. The day of the wedding Don made everything go incredibly smooth, it was such a relief to have someone with his experience and knowledge guiding us through everything. Absolutely recommend him to my friends and we will seek him out to renew our vows some years down the road.

Rev. Don Toshach officiated our ceremony enthusiastically, professionally, and on-time. He provided genuine interest during the ceremony by adding his own unique touch and keeping our audience involved (and awake!). While he had fun humor throughout, he kept it professional by sticking with some traditions of marriage and covering core values. He was formal in cooperating with our wedding planner and other vendors. Finally, he arrived on time to our rehearsal and ceremony. He was patient with the whole event and did not rush a thing.

Did just an outstanding job as the Officiant. True professional, very personable, and as genuine as it gets. Rev. Don was articulate, dependable (even at last minute requests), and we felt he cared just as much as we did about how the wedding would go. Rev. Don set the perfect tone for our wedding and we could not imagine having anyone else. Very strongly recommended.

We wanted a lot of creativity and flexibility when it came to our wedding ceremony and Reverend Don was the right man for the job! He has had so much experience and so much input to add that it definitely got the creative juices flowing. He was always prompt with email and very friendly in person. It seemed like no matter what, he was very prepared. In fact, I think he said he always brings two copies of his paperwork just to make sure he had it. What he wrote for our ceremony was absolutely beautiful and unique but most of all, he captured who we were as a couple. I highly recommend Rev. Don and we could be contacting him again once we're ready to renew our vows.

All - We did our due diligence in researching and meeting with officiants, and Don was the only one that made us not feel like "just another client." I am not sure what it was about him, but as soon as we met him we knew he was the officiant for us. Furthermore, the job he did at the actual wedding surpassed all of our expectations. He was funny, witty, meaningful, romantic, and everything else you would want in an officiant. Don is a natural at this and is fantastic at what he does. Based on our input, he tailored the length and material presented in the ceremony to our needs. After the ceremony (and still to this day) I have people asking me about Don for their wedding and saying how good of a job he did. I highly recommend Reverend Don. He’s awesome!!

Don was AWESOME! We felt so fortunate to have found an officiant that put so much effort and personal attention to crafting our ceremony so that it was personal and unique to us. We had our friends and family come up to us after the wedding to comment on how beautiful the ceremony was and how great Don was. He spoke to us and our guests like we were old friends, rather than wedding guests. My husband and I truly felt like our wedding was the most important thing to him in that moment. It was special, personal and truly a wonderful day.

Don was amazing! We had a last minute falling out from our friend who was going to marry us and Don was more than willing to jump in and help us. We wanted a very non-traditional ceremony and he came up with more ideas and more creative aspects than we could have ever come up with on our own. Don did a lot of research to incorporate our Rockabilly theme into the ceremony and even went out to buy a pair of Converse to match the wedding party and an awesome bowling shirt to fit the theme (all his idea too!). So we called Don randomly after finding him on Wedding Wire, and after speaking with him quickly on the phone I thought right away that he could be the perfect person to be the officiant for our wedding. Conversation was great, and he sounded like a good person, with a good voice.... and he even seemed like he cared and loved what he does. We wanted to meet him in person, and he chose a place half-way between where we both lived to make it more convenient for us. We met him, liked him, hired him. Leading up to the wedding, he worked closely with us, very patiently and with lots of ideas and suggestions on how to create the perfect ceremony specifically for us as a couple. On the day of, he was more than on time, ready to go and excited. He was professional, yet able to hold a crowd's attention with an appropriate sense of humor. He was the perfect man for the job! Rev. Don is absolutely amazing! From our first meeting he was professional fun easy going and all about learning my husband and my story. He was very easy to work with and was in constant contact with me, providing support, help and ideas. He customized our ceremony exactly how we wanted it, making the ceremony even more memorable and perfect all around, it was all about us and our love story. He is very helpful and considerate. Rev Don Toshach was our officiant for our wedding April 2011. We were more than satisfied with his service. We had many compliments for how our ceremony turned out. Rev Don definitely made our day special with his preparation and technique. While looking for an officiant, we had the opportunity to interview a few officiants. Although we liked all the officiants, we felt more comfortable with Rev Don because he actually took the time to read our wedding website before our meeting to try and get to know us. He takes the initiative to build a relationship with the couples that he marries. He is very thorough and responds quickly to your messages. He'll go out of his way to customize your wedding and make it unique. I strongly recommend to at least give him a call and setup an initial meeting.
