We had the red velvet wedding cake (3 tiers) and it was very delicious. Many of our guests said it was one of the best wedding cakes they ever had. Before you order your cake, make sure you schedule a free wedding cake tasting appt. They will let you try all kinds of flavors in their store at your appt. We got ours from the Newport Beach location. Delivery charges are expensive so we had someone help us pick it up.

This cake was absolutely delicious. We got the chocolate with coconut filling. Even the FROSTING was delicious! The price was also several hundred less than what other places were charging. They don't deliver on Sundays, and my wedding was on Sunday. For an additional $25, they opened the bakery just for us and had the cake delivered. We're glad we went with SusieCakes for our wedding cake. One problem was that they charged us for a monogram, but there was no monogram on the cake. But that's it.

Susie Cakes also does wedding cakes and this is who we chose for our wedding cake vendor. They make a delicious red velvet cake, as well as other flavors, and are very flexible as to your ideas for the design of the cake. They don't work with fondant or any artificial ingredients, so your cake tastes delicious and looks beautiful!
