The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel

I recently got married at the Ritz Carlton, Dana Point and had an amazing experience. Everything from site visit, to negotiations to day of hick-ups was managed with class. My MIL dress zipper broke 15 minutes before the wedding and within minutes the hotel seamstress was up and had her dress fixed. Our hotel sales manager Michelle and event coordinator Holly Ingoldsby did an amazing job throughout the planning process and especially the day of. I can't recommend this location enough!

I had a positive experience planning my wedding at this ritz location. The event coordinator, Rebecca Ceasar, at the riiz was the best part. She was so organized and on top of everything that it took a lot of stress out of the event. They were also very up front with charges and prices of everything. It is pricey; however, I looked at other hotels in the same area at the same level as the Ritz and the Ritz was the cheapest. Also, The Ritz is the only hotel that has it's wedding reception room with an ocean view. When I saw that I was sold! I would recommend the Ritz hands down if your budget allows. Also, I have received so many compliments on how great the dinner was at our reception. What wedding do people ever remember their dinner.

The Ritz-Carlton ~ Laguna Niguel handled all the venue details for my daughter's wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and wedding reception, including all the food/beverage and wedding cake. Our Catering Sales Manager was Cecilia De Angelis and our Special Events Manager was Eryin Choi - two of the most exceptional, classy, charming, efficient and knowledgeable ladies one could possible hope to work with throughout the planning process and did all the Ladies and Gentlemen of the Ritz-Carlton ever deliver! From top to bottom, the catering department along with the hotel management and staff consistently went above and beyond to make this event "catered" in every aspect imaginable. The venues were prepared beautifully and the transitions from one to the next were seamless throughout the day. We're still getting compliments on the food and service from our guests. And the wedding cake was gorgeous - we had both a wedding cake and a "groom's" cake (a Southern tradition) and the chef at the Ritz did both to perfection. We found the hotel management and staff to be very generous and accommodating to us, our wedding party and guests - no detail went unattended. Even the area lived up to its billing as the California Riviera as we had a 75 degree, sunny, light-breeze day with deep blue skies dotted with a few perfectly puffy, white clouds and deep blue water mirroring the sky. As if that were not enough, we also had a stunningly rich, deep-hued ocean sunset create a glorious light show that was enjoyed from the terrace while many guests sipped champagne and enjoyed cigars. Not bad for a January 2nd date. Looking at the pictures you would think my daughter and son-in-law had a gorgeous summer wedding. We would have to give our experience at The Ritz 5++++ stars and then some! We loved our whole experience with them.

We had a great experience with the Ritz. Every contact was great and responsive. They were phenomenal at working with our budget to make it possible;they made every effort to make all our requests possible. The food was amazing! They did the cake too, it was beautiful and tasted great. I know we will use them in the future for other occasions.

Although it was expensive, the money was well worth the experience and memories. It was the perfect wedding I had always wanted and the Ritz was overly accomodating and flexible. They made special drinks and dyed them to match my bridesmaid dresses, floated orchids that I specially requested and were always easy to get a hold of. They have everything perfectly worked out- they didn't forget a thing. The whole night ran so smoothly. They even custom created a ice cream sundae bar for me and my husband since we didn't like cake. We had Eryin as our coordinator at the Ritz- she is amazing, has great ideas and is very easy to work with!

Having the ceremony and reception at The Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel was worth every penny.The professionalism, attention to detail, and a true desire to make a bride's dream come true was evident with all staff.

Beautiful location. Friendly, responsive staff.Weren't afraid to overcharge us for items, for example, we had some hors d'oeuvres sent to a hotel room for the bridal party during the cocktail hour, and charged us for extra guests.

We booked the hotel very early, but Ritz Carlton failed to let us know that there would be a construction! During the ceremony they stopped knocking, but they continued their project during the reception. I had to pass an aisle (with my big wedding gown) with wet paint on their wall. Annoying! All in all they only care about your money. Not recommended.
