Timothy’s unique style challenges many traditional ideas about the types of music that can be played with a violin. He is described as an incredible stage presence with an intense level of energy and talent. Born in Southern California, Timothy discovered his passion and talent for the arts early, and by the age of nine was diligently studying the violin and listening to Mark O’Connor, Jean Luc Ponty and Itzak Perlman. His passion for the arts expanded during his high school years to include vocal and theater arts as well as the violin.

In 1996 he began training at Cal State Fullerton and graduated in 2000 with a BFA in Theatre Arts. He studied intensively in vocal performance, concert violin and musical theatre arts.

In 2001, Timothy continued to refine his skills at The Boston Conservatory of Music, and just one year later, he was performing as a soloist with the Boston Pops Orchestra. His popularity as a musician was on the rise and he frequently appeared at prestigious events throughout New England and New York.

In 2002, Timothy was accepted into Brandeis University’s prestigious Performing Arts Program as a Master’s Candidate. Tim had a special gift and this highly esteemed school was the perfect place for Tim to further his studies. 

After completing the Master of Fine Arts degree in 2005 from Brandeis, Timothy was offered the opportunity to tour internationally as a Lead Singer with Holland America Cruise Lines performing in their main stage production shows. While onboard, Tim also began to develop his growing interest in playing multiple genres of music on the violin, and upon his return to the Southern California, he began performing what is described as a unique blend of contemporary and classic music.

Timothy currently resides in Irvine, California, and serves as a professor of music and theater at Riverside City College. He continues to perform at weddings, corporate events and concerts all over Southern California. He is a preferred violinist at top Orange County venues such as the Ritz-Carlton Hotel at Laguna Beach, Surf and Sand Resort, the Waterfront Hilton in Huntington Beach, and many more.
